In Moscow, a court arrested the coordinator of the “Voice” movement for five days.

Judge of the Dorogomilovsky District Court Venera Bocharova appointed five days of administrative arrest to the coordinator of the Voice movement Vladimir Yegorov under the article on petty hooliganism (part 1 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). It is reported by MBH Media.

The administrative application was initiated at the request of Anna Egorova, an employee of the council. According to the police and the court, Yegorov used foul language in a public place and did not respond to requests to stop, and also waved his arms.

Yegorov was detained in the Dorgomilovo TEC building on the evening of 7 September. Without explaining the reasons for his detention, the police took him to the Dorgomilovo police station, where they drew up a protocol against him under the article on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Before the meeting, the activist was not explained what exactly he was accused of.

“I was at the TEC of the Dorogomilovo district, I was going to vote early, but the guard did not let me in. I called the police, the chairman of the commission came out, they let me in, I voted, and I was detained by the police officers whom I called,” the activist said at the trial.

Yegorov was kept in the department for 48 hours. The traffic coordinator stated that he was not given food or water in the department. At the same time, Olga Pelshe, a lawyer from OVD-Info, was not allowed to see him for a long time. The police also refused to accept parcels for the detainee.

In addition, Yegorov's phone was confiscated during his arrest. A few hours after the arrest at the police station, Yegorov's phone was reset to factory settings. At a break in the meeting, Yegorov said that he recorded on a dictaphone how an unknown man, possibly from the Department of Internal Affairs for the Closed Joint-Stock Company or the head of the council, said: "Close it until Monday."

The defense party stated that there were no corpus delicti in Yegorov's actions and asked that the case be dismissed.
