In the Tula region, the judge did not allow the lawyer into the trial, the bailiffs dragged him out by force

Moscow lawyer Dmitry Sotnikov was forcibly dragged out of the building of the Novomoskovsky City Court in the Tula Region by bailiffs, public defender Irina Yatsenko reports on Facebook.

According to Yatsenko, Sotnikov came to the Tula region to defend Eduard Dolgintsev, accused of drug trafficking. At today's meeting, secret witnesses were supposed to be interrogated.

However, judge Lyubov Solovyova refused to allow Sotnikov to participate in the trial. When the lawyer began to object, Yatsenko notes, the judge called the bailiffs and ordered them to take the lawyer out the door.

Yatsenko also publishes, filmed in court by Oleg Dubrovkin, an expert at the “In Defense of Prisoners’ Rights” Foundation. The recording shows the bailiffs dragging the defender by the arms along the floor.

According to Yatsenko, the lawyer was taken to the emergency room, and then had to be taken to the Investigative Committee.

Dubrovkin later told MBKH Media that at the emergency room the lawyer had a bruise on his face, as well as bruises to his ear and shoulder. After this, the security forces took the lawyer back to court, without explaining why. Afterwards they promise to deliver him to the Investigative Committee.

Lawyer Dmitry Sotnikov defended one of the defendants in the “Moscow case” - Sergei Fomin, who is accused of participating in mass riots.
