Three natives of Chechnya apologized for appealing to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, that "they have nowhere to live and no one to help." Before that, on the Grozny ChGTRK channel, local authorities advised the relatives of Chechen women to “watch their women,” the reports . Kavkazsky Uzel publication
Aset Elbazurova, Zarema Lorsanova and Yakhmat Mitisheva grew up in Chechnya. 20 years ago they moved to the city of Khasavyurt (Republic of Dagestan), and recently wrote to Ramzan Kadyrov that they live in poor conditions and there is no one to help them. ChGTRK "Grozny" found out that the women had relatives in Chechnya. The head of the administration of the head of the Chechen Republic, Isa Tumkhadzhiev, said:
One of them has a brother, a son, she has a place to live, she left for Khasavyurt. The other has a brother, she went to Khasavyurt. This one has children of a paternal cousin, she left, rented a room in Khasavyurt. Messages are written from there: “We have nowhere to go, nowhere to go…”. Such things do not correspond to Chechen adats . These are your women and you have to decide. When did the Chechens have that they did not look after their women? It's a shame... Take your women home with you.
The correspondent of the ChGTRK "Grozny" explained the apologies by the fact that Elbazurova, Lorsanova and Mitisheva learned that their appeal about their problems casts a shadow on the entire Chechen people. The women promised Kadyrov to restore contact with their relatives and "return to those who are responsible for them before the Almighty." The relatives themselves said that “they will not allow women to beg and will return them to their homeland, and most importantly, they will subsequently control their actions.”
However, not all Chechens agree with the actions of the authorities:
Of course, it is wrong, having close relatives and housing, to complain that there is nowhere to live, but it is unacceptable to insult the whole republic for this,
