Eduard Malyshevsky, arrested on September 2 in the case of “mass riots,” was charged with using violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the head of Agora, Pavel Chikov.
According to the investigation, on July 27, 2019, Eduard Malyshevsky, while in a paddy wagon on Tverskaya Street, squeezed out a glass that fell on the commander of the department of the second operational regiment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, causing him pain.
Malyshevsky is now in custody.
- There are currently ten defendants in the July 27 case. On September 3, the Investigative Committee announced the termination of the prosecution against four people - Sergei Abanichev, Vladislav Barabanov, Daniil Konon and Valery Kostenok.
- Four defendants in the “case of July 27” - Danil Beglets , Ivan Podkopaev , Kirill Zhukov and Evgeniy Kovalenko - have already been sentenced under the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). The charge under the article on participation in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) remains with Alexey Minyailo and Sergei Fomin.
- Later it became known that the case under the article of mass unrest against Yegor Zhukov was terminated. Now he is accused of extremist activities.
