Shies: Eco -activists created a commune

Eco -activists on duty at the Shies station in the Arkhangelsk region, where the garbage training ground is being built, announced the creation of a commune. This is stated in the community "Pomerania is not a trash."

The purpose of the commune is to maintain the natural environment in Shies and in the surrounding territories. Activists have established the basic rules: decisions are made by a majority vote, the commune will not have a hierarchical structure, its inhabitants lead an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Those who live on Shies, but not police, builders and guards can become members of the commune. To coordinate the life of the camp, the commune can choose a "respected person", there is no document management at the station.

The Moscow authorities want to build a garbage training ground in the village of Shies, on which they will be taken from Moscow. The last survey of the Levada Center showed that 95% of the residents of the Arkhangelsk region against the construction of the landfill in Shies.
