The court confiscated the property of the former head of the Klinsky district of the Moscow region worth 9 billion rubles. Including two kindergartens and a public bathhouse

The Klin City Court has satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation to transfer to the state's income the property owned by the former head of the Klin District of the Moscow Region, Alexander Postrigan, and members of his family.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, property “obtained from sources not provided for by law” was seized.

1.7 thousand real estate objects were converted into state income, including two kindergartens, a children's clinic and a public bathhouse. In addition, four cars and property worth five billion rubles, previously confiscated, were seized. The value of all property is estimated at nine billion rubles.

Aleksandr Postrigan headed the Klinsky District from 1992 to 2014, then served as a local deputy for three years. He was detained in 2018 on suspicion of abuse of office and official forgery during the delivery of a residential building.
