The Ministry of Transport is ready to allocate 13 billion rubles from the federal budget for road projects in St. Petersburg from 2020 to 2024. The SHMSD will participate in the financing of the first stage of the Magistral of the Northern Capital LLC, the federal and city budgets. SHMSD will include 11 interchanges, calculated throughput will be more than 170 thousand cars per day.
According to the plans , the SHMSD will begin from the WHSD in the area of Blagodnoye Street, crosses the Neva in the alignment of the faience and ash streets and will reach the room in the Kudrov region. It is assumed that the track will help reduce the load on the road infrastructure.
