The court acquitted a Petersburger who was accused of attacking a policeman on the action "He is not a king for us"

The St. Petersburg City Court canceled the verdict of the Dzerzhinsky District Court and justified Mikhail Tsakunov, who was accused of attacking the policeman on the campaign “He is not a king”, which took place on May 5, 2018.

The city court did not find a crime in the actions of Tsakunov. Behind the Petersburger recognized the right to rehabilitation. At the same time, according to Tsakunov, he still requires 26 thousand rubles for causing damage to the police.

Tsakunov was arrested on May 7, 2018. The police claimed that the Petersburger hit the face of the junior sergeant and knocked out his tooth. The video of the detention shows how the police flew to the ground on the ground on Tsakunov, standing at Palace Square with a blown with yellow duck. According to Open Russia, Tsakunov did not participate in the rally on May 5 and had never visited mass shares earlier.

Tsakunov spent one year under arrest. In May 2019, the Dzerzhinsky District Court sentenced the Petersburger to a fine of 100 thousand rubles, but exempted from payment in connection with the year of arrest.
