In Tyumen, a volunteer from Navalny’s headquarters was fired after searches in the FBK case

In Tyumen, Dmitry Dobrynin, a volunteer at the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny, was fired from his job after searches in connection with the FBK case. MBKh Media writes about this with reference to an activist.

Dobrynin worked as a system administrator at the TSK company. It was written in the work book that he quit “of his own free will.” The volunteer himself told the publication that management expressed dissatisfaction with his cooperation with the headquarters.

On September 12, searches of employees and volunteers of Navalny’s headquarters were conducted in all regions of the country. In Tyumen, they took place at the home of headquarters coordinator Ivan Vostrikov, headquarters employee Sergei Oskolkov, and also at the home of volunteer Dmitry Zverev’s mother. All of them are witnesses in the case of laundering 75 million rubles.

• On September 12, searches of supporters of Alexei Navalny and his headquarters took place in at least forty cities; according to the politician’s associates, at approximately 200 addresses. After the searches, many activists were interrogated as witnesses in the case of money laundering (Article 174 of the Criminal Code).
• Searches took place not only at Navalny’s supporters, but also, for example, at representatives of the Movement for the Protection of Voters’ Rights “Voice,” as well as human rights activists and environmental activists.
• The case of money laundering in connection with the financing of the Anti-Corruption Foundation founded by Navalny was opened on August 3. The investigation believes that in 2016–2018, a group of people, including FBK employees, received more than 75.5 million rubles from unknown sources, and then, disguising their criminal origin, deposited this money into FBK accounts.
