In Yaroslavl, law enforcement officers handed warnings to the organizers of a flash mob in support of Shies

In Yaroslavl, employees of the E Center, the prosecutor's office and the police came to the organizers of the flash mob in support of Shies to give warnings about the inadmissibility of breaking the law. This was reported to OVD-Info by local eco-activist Anna Golovina.

Law enforcement officers visited the activists on September 18, and the next day they called the participants of the Eco-Indefinitely Yaroslavl and invited them to explain about the upcoming event. Golovina herself was served with a summons in connection with a complaint registered in the register of crime reports.

A flash mob in support of Shies activists in Yaroslavl was planned to be held on September 22. The participants were going to line up in the word "Shies" and take a photo. “We chose a neutral form of support - to take a general photo. We must admit that we simply did not expect such pressure from the security forces,” says Golovina.

• Since August 2018, protests have been regularly held near the Shies station in the Arkhangelsk region, as well as in Arkhangelsk itself and in Syktyvkar. Local residents oppose the construction of a landfill for municipal solid waste, where, according to plans, Moscow garbage should be taken out.
