In St. Petersburg, a candidate for deputy was detained at the territorial election commission No. 27

In St. Petersburg, Andrei Starikov, a candidate for municipal deputies of the Novoizmailovskoye municipality, was detained at the Territorial Election Commission (TEC) No. 27. He reported this to the OVD-Info hotline.

Starikov came to the chairman of the TEC, to which the Novoizmailovskoye municipality belongs, Larisa Yushchenko, to receive a copy of the final protocol of the election results in the municipality. The election commission of the Novoizmailovskoye municipal formation (IKMO) did not provide him with this document.

In the office, according to Starikov, there was the chairman of the TEC and, together with the chairman of the ECMO, Yevgeny Savik, they were sorting through the final protocols. After questions about a copy of the protocol, Savik pushed Starikov out the door. The chairman called the police, saying that Starikov attacked her.

During the detention, Starikov was handcuffed, as he refused to hand over the video camera on which he recorded the entire dialogue with the chairman.

Starikov was taken to police department No. 29. A protocol is drawn up against him under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer). They also talk about the possibility of considering the statements of the chairmen of the election commissions and about Article 119 of the Criminal Code (Threat of murder or causing grievous bodily harm) in connection with them.

18:36 Starikov was released from the police with a protocol under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer). This was reported on the MBKh Media website with reference to the lawyer of Navalny's headquarters in St. Petersburg, Mikhail Uvarov.

On September 8, elections of municipal deputies were held in St. Petersburg. Summing up the results in some municipalities dragged on for more than a week, voting day was accompanied by massive violations.
