Clients cannot access VTB online services

VTB Internet Bank is not available to bank customers, VTB reports on its website. Users were advised to try to contact the service later, after 14.00. The post says the team is working “on improvements to internet banking.” The bank's smartphone app also doesn't work. Instead of access to accounts, customers are shown a message "about the prevention of the system."

• The Downdetector service indicates that the first reports of problems with VTB customers appeared around 6.00 Moscow time. By 13.00 the number of calls reached 158, but is gradually decreasing. 73% of users who found the problem complained that they could not log in, another 15% reported a failure of all services. Some users note that they cannot pay with bank cards.
