The military registration and enlistment office held a “preventive conversation” with a student detained at the July 27 protest

After being detained for a rally on July 27, a student of Moscow State University was summoned to the military registration and enlistment office, where they held a “preventive conversation”. This is reported by the student magazine DOXA in its Telegram channel, without naming the student.

The young man, who has a deferment from the army for the period of study, received a summons to the military registration and enlistment office, a similar request addressed to him was sent to the university. Before that, on July 27, he was detained at a rally for the admission of independent candidates to the Moscow City Duma and was awarded an administrative fine.

During the “conversation”, the student was asked about the purpose of attending the rally, whether they really pay for it, and also warned about possible consequences in the form of expulsion from the university and conscription into the army.
