Sisters of an arrested activist were detained at a picket in Ingushetia

In the capital of Ingushetia, Magas, the sisters of Zarifa Sautieva, who was arrested in a criminal case of clashes with the police, were detained. This was reported to OVD-Info by lawyer Bilan Dzugaev.

Two women were detained during pickets in support of their sister outside the presidential administration in Magas. In the city police department, Dzugaev is told that they have no detainees. Where the women are now is not clear.

According to lawyer Kaloy Akhilgov, the sisters came out with a poster “Freedom for Zarifa Sautiyeva”. One stood in the picket, the other filmed it on camera.

By now, the women have already been released from the police.

• On September 9, the court extended Sautiyeva's detention until December 11. She is accused of organizing violence against government officials (part 3 of article 33, part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code).
