
The Vasileostrovsky District Court refused to arrest the activist of the Rossi of Russia Pavel Ivankin in a criminal case instituted due to the action with the portraits of Putin and Medvedev in the tombstones in the Smolensk cemetery. About this writes "Mediazon" from the courtroom.
According to the publication, Pavel Ivankin was released in the courtroom. The court did not appoint him a preventive measure. The investigation petitioned for the arrest for 30 days.
Due to the action with tombstones, Ivankin is suspected of abuse of the bodies of the dead and places of their burial (Article 244 of the Criminal Code). The basis of the case was his post with photographs in Telegram, posted with his IP address.
In "Agit of Russia" deny involvement in the action. Activists claim that they sent photos through an anonymous bot - and Ivankin simply published them. They believe that “the action was carried out by the employees of the“ E ”Center in order to provoke the Agit Russia community.”
