The Investigative Committee brought final charges against the defendant in the "Moscow case" Eduard Malyshevsky

The Investigative Committee has completed an investigation into the case of Eduard Malyshevsky, who is accused of using violence against police officers (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) at a rally on July 27. It is reported by TASS.

“In relation to my client, investigative actions were completed, today he was charged with the final version. Next week, the case against Malyshevsky will go to the prosecutor’s office, and if it approves the indictment, it will go to court in a week, ”TASS quotes Malyshevsky’s lawyer Alexander Aldaev.

• According to the investigation, on July 27, 2019, Eduard Malyshevsky, while in a paddy wagon on Tverskaya Street, squeezed out the glass that fell on the commander of the second operational regiment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, causing him pain. Malyshevsky is currently in jail.
• In connection with the Moscow rally on July 27 for fair elections, during the dispersal of which the police detained at least 1,373 people, a criminal case was opened under articles on mass riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the use of violence against government officials (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Until recently, 15 defendants in the case were known. On September 3, the Investigative Committee stopped criminal prosecution against five of them.
