Former co-owner of Promsvyazbank Dmitry Ananyev transferred shares of the PSN development group he founded to his wife Lyudmila. This is evidenced by data from the Cyprus company registry and the decision of the High Court of London, issued in September this year, writes RBC .

The court decision states that Ananyev transferred interests in the PSN group to his wife, who, in turn, transferred more than 50% of these interests to a third party. The wife sold the assets on market conditions, the document notes.

The assets were transferred to the businessman’s wife in January 2018. Ananyev explained to the judge that he transferred them because he wanted to avoid obstacles that the Russian authorities could create for PSN “in view of their recent interference in the affairs of Promsvyazbank.”

The transfer of shares to Lyudmila Ananyeva was completed in July 2018, according to data from the register of Cypriot companies. She became the sole owner of Leryen Assets Ltd., which she previously owned together with her husband. The following month, Ananyeva sold 50% and 1 share in three Cypriot companies in which PSN real estate was registered. The controlling shareholders were offshore companies in the Marshall and Seychelles Islands. Their beneficiaries are unknown.

The PSN group declined to comment.

Ananyev lost his key asset - Promsvyazbank - at the end of 2017.
