Media: a search was conducted in the office of the Deputy General Director of Aeroflot

The office of the Deputy General Director of Aeroflot, Vladimir Aleksandrov, was searched, he was taken away for interrogation in the case of fraud on an especially large scale (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code). This is reported by sources of Baza , Interfax and Vedomosti .

According to Interfax, the case is related to the violation of the rules for holding tenders for the provision of services in 2016-2017. “Aleksandrov, according to investigators, built a whole scheme in the airline, thanks to which he managed to carry out almost 60% of all purchases “to the left”, through his familiar contacts,” writes Baza.

According to Vedomosti sources, Alexandrov entered into contracts for the provision of legal services to third-party companies, although Aeroflot had several dozen full-time lawyers.

Aleksandrov holds the position of Deputy General Director for Legal and Property Issues at Aeroflot.
