The governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov later said that passengers will be able to use the new metro from September 5, but the stations were not opened again.

The head of the State Unitary Enterprise "Petersburg Metro" Vladimir Garyugin on October 1 redirected the issue of opening stations to the city administration, Interfax reports. However, the Governor of St. Petersburg, elected on September 8, is on vacation, while other Smolny employees could not provide information on the opening of the stations.
