The Sverdlovsk District Court of Perm decided to pay 1.5 million rubles for 14 months in a pre -trial detention center to the entrepreneur Nikita Demin, who was justified in the case of thefts (Article 158 of the Criminal Code), Demin himself told 59.ru.
The defendants in the claim for compensation for non -pecuniary damage for 50 million rubles were the prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance. The press service of the Mediazone court confirmed that the plaintiff's claims were partially satisfied, but could not name the amount. Demin is dissatisfied with such a court decision.

The businessman told 59.ru that in November 2016 he came to Syktyvkar to a friend who served eight years for theft. During a walk around the city, police officers detained them, and Demin, along with his friend, were under investigation.
In the local pre -trial detention center, the entrepreneur spent 14 months. He repents that the jailers checked his camera every 15 minutes due to the escape attempt, did not change mattresses and pulled him with other prisoners. “I was forced to sit on the twine. They beat the folder on the head, beat on the cheeks. Perhaps this is not torture, but it is humiliating for a man. At the same time, threats sounded: “Tomorrow it will be even worse,” says Demin.
In January 2018, he was justified. “Pro City” writes that in February 2019 it sued 360 thousand rubles of material damage.
