The weekly quest "prohibit the next good thing in Russia" continues. Now the Russian court has banned the two most popular LGBT Patliks on VKontakte- the Russian LGBT network and the Russian LGBT community of Russia . Having announced the gay community unligative through the unconstitutional law on gay propaganda, the authorities are slowly squeezing the right to say that gays and lesbians in the country generally exist. That is, the top of the country makes a whole layer of Russia's society invisible. Everything goes according to the rolled scheme:
1. You declare someone outlawed, thereby giving green light to homophobes and haters
2. You close all the media and publics writing that gays and lesbians exist and do not do anything illegal. There is no information - there are no gays and lesbians.
3. You report about the work done. With debauchery in the country is over. We do not have this muck.
But no matter how the power reports, and gays, lesbians, transgender, non-warrous personalities exist, Quir-loves live nearby. Quir people are we. I would write in one of the most beautiful verbal paradigms of the last time: I/we are Quir. And they convince me that Quir is a perversion. And I don't believe. Because I have no TV. And I participate in gay parades prohibited in our country.
For the third year, Russian representatives and representatives of the LGBT community from Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Petrozavodsk, St. Petersburg, and Moscow packed a peaceful march along the streets of Norwegian Kirkenes. They cross the border in order to walk with like -minded people and neighbors on the rainbow in defense of their rights, straightened in their homeland. The Barents Pride is organized by several NPOs, the friendly Baltic Pride and Oslo Pride, and on our part, is the young organization "Equaly. Dignity. Pride", which translates as "equality. Dignity. Pride", and an experienced Murmansk "Maximum".
And now the heading is "naive questions." For what? Why pride? What is there to be proud of? Why line up in a line and pace with posters? Why support the heterosexual to support the LGBT community? There is nothing more to support?
Gays, lesbians, transgender people, non -bone people - what comfortable enemies: thin, vulnerable, they can be ridiculed, portrayed with freaks - because they are not so similar to everyone. And they will not give back
For myself, I began to unravel this ball of questions for a long time, realizing that the bright and colorful struggle of the gay community is not about sexual orientation, but about human rights. The LGBT community does not require special privileges, does not require the introduction of special poses and legalization of lubricants with strawberry and banana taste and smell. It requires the restoration of violated basic rights to freedom: words, orientation, religion. And these requirements are the same, not privileged. Privileges are the salaries of State Duma deputies, their service cars, apartments and immunity. And human rights are a coordinate system, which should initially be applied to the life of any person in a civilized society. But when there are so many problems in the country that it is no longer possible to solve them, it is easier to make clown jumps to the side, pouncing into enemies: external and internal. Gays, lesbians, transgender people, non -bone people - what comfortable enemies: thin, vulnerable, they can be ridiculed, portrayed with freaks - because they are not so similar to everyone. And they will not give change.
My attitude to the prides has changed over the years. Yes, there was a time when I thought that gay parades were a lot of body, these are buttocks, feathers, sparkles, Drag Queen and noise. Until I took part in the pride myself, I had no idea that this was not a body at all. The body at the parade is needed only for movement. Pride is a holiday, sparkles, beauty, colorfulness, but from the inside, pride is meanings. These are freedom, keywords important to people, this is solidarity.
My first pride was in Stockholm, where the procession supports the whole city, and in the column there are side by side with Quir-loves of heterosexuals-with children, animals, friends. According to statistics, 40 % of heterosexuals go in the Stockholm Pride column. And what the pride looks from the inside: one after one, trucks with an open body are marching, in which people build either interesting installations, or just stand and wave to the townspeople who spilled out a bright sight to the streets of Stockholm. Representatives of the authorities, the army, the police, the church, public and sports organizations go in cars. Having studied the list in the column (it is laid out on the Pride website), you can get a complete picture of the social and social structure of Sweden. I can’t say in full, but, in my opinion, there is not a single Swedish organization that would miss the opportunity to go in the parade, showing solidarity with the LGBTS SHIDS.
And the procession is a theatrical model of everything that is in a progressive country. Along with bearded beads (such handsome men-geoi), along with the red cross, there are also modest human rights activists from Human Rights Defenders-in their truck I went and threw kisses into the crowd and shouting from happiness Happy Pride and getting the same back from the crowd. Apparently, it is necessary to shout for several hours in a row of this Happraid to understand how much the parade is about love, solidarity and demonstration of all the values that Europe is so proud of. Freedom to be yourself and be any color, shape and content. The indescribable happiness of being in the thick of justice and the undisguised envy of the Swedes having this opportunity.
My second pride was a quiet Norwegian. And this is a completely different atmosphere. The same rainbow flags, the same HappyPride from everywhere, the same warm atmosphere, the support of local residents who spilled out their families and welcome a small column of 350 people with good smiles. But only slogans in Russian and smiles are bitter. Forced LGBT prejudice on foreign land, because on your own to be ashamed, illegally and a-t-tu. Standing his shoulder to the shoulder with Russian gays, lesbians and a non -naval Jay, experienced a revolutionary spirit, a sense of desire for the struggle and thirst for victory.
“Russia will be free,” shouted Pride Renat Black, and I believed her. Otherwise, why for the second year in a row I have been leaving with my rainbow friends to shout about human rights? Otherwise, why already all this? My television-oriented colleagues ask: "Why do you need this?" And I know why. If the basic human rights are violated before my eyes, I will be a bastard cowardly if I say nothing. I am not silent in Russia and do not be silent in Norway. From moving on both sides of the border, my beliefs do not change. The right of a person to love the one he wants should be undeniable. If you delegate this right to the state, it will very soon move to my bed and begin to sort my lovers in parties, prosperity and skin color. And I don't want to. I do not want to be indicated to me what to write about as a journalist, this is my moral and professional law. And whom to love, I will also decide myself. And I hope that I will live until those times when a bunch of executive officials, in a wild past, indicating with whom and how to have sex, secretly marching in the pride somewhere abroad "for the rights of officials to peep for gays." And let them be even 350 people. Yes, at least 400. But let them not be in my free Russia.
And finally: what does pride have and what prejudice has to do with it. And who is our main pervert. When you are broadcast from all the ironing of the country that you are a pervert, and you are not succumbing to, you know who you are, proud of those who you are trying to enlighten others and debunk the prejudices of television tumors, my main question ripens. Guys, who is our main pervert in the country? Anyone who tries to defend his right to exist and fights for the basic rights, not turning anyone to gays and lesbians, without demonstrating either poses or sexual pictures and nothing indecent or one who intervenes in someone else's intimate life and tries to solve someone else's sexual question, peeping into someone else's keyhole? Who needs to treat their unhealthy fantasies: to those who are not trying to impose their sexual education to heterosexual couples, demanding only the right to be himself or heterosexual, excitedly examining the homosexual bed, savoring details in such details that did not dream of any even the most free gay parade?
