It seems that the actors from Twin Peaks, and David Lynch himself, are hinting at a continuation of the series

The Hollywood Museum of Horror posted a cryptic message on its Twitter that hinted at a 2020 sequel to David Lynch's Twin Peaks. “Someone we know knows someone who has let out something very interesting about the future of Twin Peaks! If this is true, in 2020 we will squeal and jump!”

Subscribers did not believe the message at first, but the museum continued to tweet:

The Hollywood Museum of Horror was founded in Hollywood in 2015 by director Houston Huddleston (arrested in 2018 for possession of child pornography). The museum's board of directors includes, among others, Jennifer Lynch, daughter of David Lynch and author of The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer.

On October 1, actor Michael Horse, who played Deputy Hawke in Twin Peaks, posted a photo on his Instagram without comment. It features Andy Brennan's character gesturing for Hawke to keep quiet.

On the same day, the performer of the role of Dale Cooper, Kyle MacLachlan, wrote on social networks that he was thinking about donuts in the morning (in the series, Cooper and the police constantly ate them) and posted a photo in a suit. In response, fans bombarded the actor with questions about whether the rumors were true and requests not to mock them. McHachlan didn't answer.

David Lynch himself tweeted back on September 18 about how he loves King County, where the series was filmed, the people in it and his film crew.
