The lawyer of the international human rights group "Agora" Denis Tikhonov, acting as the defender of Sinitsa, demanded that the verdict be canceled and the case returned to the court of first instance. He is sure that the guilt of his client has not been proven, and the case can be terminated on exonerating grounds.
The prosecutor did not agree with the position of the defense and asked the court to leave the verdict unchanged. He stated that Sinitsa's guilt was fully proven, and the court of first instance made a just decision.
