A festival of contemporary art will be held in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg on October 5 and 6, the Art Weekend festival will be held . In art space and galleries there will be excursions, lectures and master classes.

The festival venues will be the Pushkinskaya 10 art center, New Holland, Berthold Center and others. The full list and program can be seen here .

The organizers offer four routes to choose from. For example, if you go from the Chernyshevskaya metro station, you can visit exhibitions at the Stieglytsa Academy, Myth Gallery and Anna Nova Gallery. And along the route from Nevsky Prospekt to Sadovaya Street - the Gallery "Pork Rylo", the reading room of the Aperto Masters and Name Gallery. On the Petrograd side and Vasilievsky Island, the organizers offer to visit the Kunsthalle Nummer Sieben Gallery, Rosa DK, Freud dreams, as well as DIDI Gallery.

All locations of the festival will work from 11:00 to 20:00. For some events, the entrance is free, the rest must be pre -registered or purchase tickets on the sites of the sites.

In public discussions, foreign and Russian curators, artists and philosophers will discuss the problems of curators in public spaces, the coexistence of art and politics and artistic self -organization.

In addition, the guests of the festival were offered during excursions to visit the studios of St. Petersburg artists Nestor Engelke, Lisa Bobkova, Alexander Dashevsky, Stas Bags, Leonid Tsha, Peter Shvetsov and Anna Andrzhievskaya. However, now you can’t register for most of them.
