Microsoft is ready to abandon Windows for Android

The Windows operating system is no longer Microsoft's most important product, . CEO Satya Nadella told Wired

As The Verge clarifies , the corporation focused on Microsoft Graph, a collection of APIs that the company would like to connect to the Android OS. To do this, Microsoft has apparently already begun to cooperate with Google (the owner of Andriod), the newspaper writes.

Nadella acknowledges that a large number of transactions are now performed on mobile devices, although corporate clients so far mainly use Windows and desktop applications.

• On October 2, Microsoft introduced the Android-based Surface Duo smartphone. The device with two screens will go on sale no earlier than the end of 2020.
• Microsoft CEO of Products Panos Panay says the smartphone will support all Android apps and will become an important part of the ecosystem of the two companies.
• At the same time, Peney declined to call Android the future for Microsoft.
• Surface Duo will return Microsoft to the smartphone market, which the company left in 2015, ceasing to release devices with Windows Mobile (first it was Nokia, then Microsoft's own brand phones).
