
Alexei Minyailo, 34-year-old volunteer of the headquarters of an opposition candidate in the Moscow City Duma, Lyubov Sobol, was one of the most famous accused in Moscow Affairs.
He was detained before the protest in Moscow on July 27. Minyailo was charged with participating in the riots, from August 2 he was in the isolator. At the process, Minyailo did not admit guilt and emphasized that he did not manage to participate in the protest, but was detained on the way to her.
On September 26, the Basmanny Court of Moscow freed Minyailo out of arrest. Judge Arthur Karpov, announcing the decision, said that there are no signs of mass riots in the case file: "The case file does not contain data indicating the organization of mass riots and, as a result, about the participation of the accused in them."
After the release, Minevo took part in the rally for fair elections on September 29.
