Former defendants in the “Moscow case” Vladislav Barabanov and Alexei Minyailo were detained near the Moscow City Court building. This was reported in the telegram channel of the campaign in support of those involved in the “Arresters 212” case.
Barabanov and Minyailo held single pickets in support of Danil Beglets, whose appeal against his sentence was considered in court today.
They are taken to the Preobrazhensky police station.
19:55 Barabanov and Minyailo were released from the police department on an obligation to appear, reports coordinator of the legal service of OVD-Info Alla Frolova. They were kept at the department for more than three hours.
- In connection with the Moscow rally on July 27 for fair elections, during the dispersal of which the police detained at least 1,373 people, a criminal case was opened under articles on mass riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the use of violence against government officials (Article 318 of the Criminal Code).

- Four defendants in the “case of July 27” - Danil Beglets , Ivan Podkopaev , Kirill Zhukov and Evgeniy Kovalenko - have already been sentenced under the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). The charge under the article on participation in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) remains with Alexey Minyailo and Sergei Fomin.
- Later it became known that the case under the article of mass unrest against Yegor Zhukov was terminated. Now he is accused of extremist activities.
