In Novokuznetsk, police officers detained an activist of “Protest Kuzbass”

In Novokuznetsk, traffic police officers detained former member of the Libertarian Party and activist of “Protest Kuzbass” Igor Gorlanov after he was attacked by an unknown person. Gorlanov himself reported this to OVD-Info.

He stood in a single picket on a traffic island near one of the shopping centers with a poster “Tyrant to court.” According to Gorlanov, some time after the start of the picket, an unknown person attacked him. The activist said that for protection purposes he had to use pepper spray.

The traffic police paid attention to the incident, but detained not only the attacker, but also Gorlanov. The men were taken to the Central police department of Novokuznetsk. The police officers do not explain to the activist the reason for the arrest. The reason for the attack on Gorlanov is also unknown.
