The Moscow City Court did not satisfy the complaint against the sentence of the person involved in the "case of July 27" Danila Beglets. It is reported by Mediazona.
The fugitive pleaded guilty, his case was considered in a special order. Because of this, in the complaint, the defense only asked for a commutation of the sentence, which they considered excessively harsh.
On September 3, the Tverskoy District Court sentenced the Runaway to two years in prison under the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). According to the prosecution, during the rally on July 27, the Fugitive grabbed the policeman by the wrist and “strongly squeezed him and pulled him aside.” In court, he admitted his guilt and asked the investigation to consider the case in a special order.
Earlier, Runaway apologized to the injured security official, after which the lawyer of the protester on July 27 petitioned for the case to be dismissed due to the reconciliation of the parties. However, the policeman refused to confirm the fact of reconciliation.
The fugitive is dependent on his wife, two-year-old son and three-month-old daughter.
