The coordinator of the “Left Front of Buryatia” was interrogated by the FSB due to an action against police brutality

In Ulan-Ude, unidentified persons detained the coordinator of the local branch of the Left Front, Sergei Ivanitsky. According to the detainee, he was taken to the FSB and interrogated about the action on September 29 in Ulan-Ude, before which they took away his phone. Ivanitsky himself reported this to the OVD-Info hotline.

The FSB officers tried to find out how Ivanitsky was able to organize an action against police brutality, why "more people came to it than the communists are gathering", why he coordinates the "Left Front of Buryatia", and also how he combined "such activities" with work in the National Guard. As Ivanitsky noted, he resigned from the power structure at the end of September.

• On September 29, in Ulan-Ude, in Yubileinaya Park, was held an action coordinated with local authorities against police lawlessness. The rally participants demanded an end to the persecution of the participants of the peaceful gathering on Soviet Square.
• On September 9, a spontaneous people's gathering began in Ulan-Ude. The reason for the protest was the detention of supporters of the shaman Alexander Gabyshev, who had been walking to Moscow for several months to expel Putin. Later, the deputy of the People's Khural Bair Tsyrenov and the senator from the Irkutsk region Vyacheslav Markhaev, who lost the election of the head of the city, joined the protesters. Markhaev said he refuses to recognize the results of the vote.
