The Moscow City Court canceled the fine for the participant of the action on August 3

The Moscow City Court dismissed the case of Maxim Kamaleev, who was detained on August 3 during a rally for fair elections. This was announced by his defender from OVD-Info Timur Karamyshev.

The case was dismissed due to the fact that the police incorrectly indicated the date of the “offense” in the notification about the date of the protocol. Instead of August 3, the document indicated August 6.

Earlier, the Perovsky Court of Moscow fined Kamaleev 15 thousand rubles under the article on violation of the rules of the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Title changed: previously we incorrectly indicated a different month in the title

• The action “Let's take back the right to vote” took place on August 3 and took place throughout the Boulevard Ring in Moscow. According to OVD-Info, at least 1,001 people were detained that day. Employees of the Investigative Committee came to the detainees at the police departments and interrogated them in the case of the “mass riots” on July 27.
