Bloomberg: The US has prepared sanctions against Turkey

The United States has prepared sanctions against Turkey, which can be introduced in the next day - before the end of Monday, writes Bloomberg. They are linked to the successful development of the Turkish offensive against US-allied Kurds in Syria - likely accompanied by "atrocities" in the form of videotaped executions of Kurds.

• Sanctions were prepared by the Pentagon and the US State Department over the weekend, now they are only waiting for the approval of President Donald Trump, agency sources say.
• The most likely part of the sanctions is individual against a "broad list" of people. Sanctions are also being considered for military transactions, arms exports and energy supplies to Turkish troops.
• Trump himself on Monday simultaneously announced the "arrival of new sanctions" against Turkey and that the United States is not going to fight with a NATO ally.
