The Moscow Arbitration Court returned the applicant's claim against FBK for a billion rubles

The Moscow Arbitration Court refused to consider the claim against FBK for a billion rubles and returned it to the applicant. The head of the FBK legal department, Vasily Gimadi, reported this on Twitter.

As the judge emphasized in the ruling, the applicant did not fulfill the most basic requirements for filing a claim: he did not attach confirmation of payment of the state duty, a copy of the power of attorney of the signatory to the claim, and also did not provide evidence that FBK caused real damage to the applicant in the amount of one billion rubles.

• The Fly Auto car rental company, through the Moscow Arbitration Court, demanded from FBK and the Dozhd TV channel, indicated in the lawsuit as a third party, to pay one billion rubles for damage allegedly caused by the actions on July 27, August 3 and 10.
• This is not the only lawsuit stemming from the summer protests. The Koptevsky court satisfied the claim of Mosgortrans for the recovery of 1.2 million rubles for delaying the movement of public route transport, the claim of the State Budgetary Institution "Automobile Roads" for the recovery of 3.4 million rubles for damage to road infrastructure, as well as the claim of the Moscow Metro for 53.7 thousand rubles for several employees going to work on their day off. In favor of the Armenia restaurant, the court recovered 241.5 thousand rubles from the organizers of the action.
• On July 27 and August 3 in Moscow, and on August 10 also in forty other cities of Russia, rallies were held in support of unregistered candidates for the Moscow City Duma. The protests were accompanied by mass arrests and violence by security forces.
