On the site of the infamous Khovrinsky abandoned hospital, the Moscow authorities want to build a huge residential complex. Residents are horrified

Moskhordum deputy Yevgeny Bunimovich, together with representatives of the initiative group of residents of the sixth constituency of Moscow on October 17, filed more than 15,000 signatures to the city hall against the construction of a huge residential complex on the site of the Khovrinskaya abandoned hospital.

In one of his interviews, the deputy mayor of Moscow on urban planning and construction, Marat Khusnullin, recently stated that “the volume of housing is planned on the site of the former Khovrinsky hospital, some of which will go under renovation; All decisions have been made, we are in full swing. ” Then none of the residents of the district paid attention to his words. The address on Klinskaya Street, Vl. 2, where the hospital was before, is not indicated in the list of launching platforms of renovation. Yes, and, according to the General Plan of Moscow, this zone is not intended for the construction of multi -storey buildings. Now residents are sure: this decision can lead to disaster.

In early September, residents of the district saw that they had driven the equipment to the territory of the KHZB, the workers began to dig a pit. It turned out: the city hall gave this site for the construction of skyscrapers allegedly according to the renovation program. “It was unexpected. No public hearings were held, ”Tatyana from the initiative group of the residents of Khovrino told Novaya. “Nobody informed us.”

“All the conversations that there will be renovation on the site of the Khovrinsky hospital is not true. In order for the skyscrapers to survive there, the piles need to be driven almost to the core of the earth-because of the river of the feast that flows underground.

The houses will turn out “gold,” says “New” Bunimovich. - Moreover, schools and kindergartens have already been crowded in Khovrino, and there is no social infrastructure to provide such a huge residential complex. Instead, we offer our own plan for the improvement of the territory-the socio-cultural project “Khovrinka”.

The Khovrinka recreational project, in support of which 15 thousand signatures for three weeks have already been collected, involves the release of the Likhoborki River from the collector and the restoration of the pond, and then the arrangement of the park around the reservoirs. On the territory of the park there will be libraries and coworking, open workshops and market square, and in winter a rink and a hockey platform will be equipped.

“It is strictly impossible to build a huge complex in this territory because of security reasons, but you can equip the area, because, in addition to the old library, we don’t have cultural spaces at all,” says Tatyana from the initiative group, noting that they like the Khovrinka project much more.

Recall that the Khovrinsky hospital began to be built back in the 80s. It was a grandiose -scale project for 1300 beds. However, it was decided to freeze the construction. It became clear: it is impossible to build a huge building in this place-because of the Lihoborka River, enclosed in the collector, at a certain stage of construction under the foundation, the soil became sharply sagging. The grandiose project has turned into an equally grandiose unfinished one. Over the years, the hospital and the deserted area around have acquired the ominous designation of the KHB and the bad reputation of the dangerous zone, where teenagers from dysfunctional families spent their time. The KHZB managed to demolish only in 2018 after a series of terrible deaths of adolescents in this territory and the followed by this wide public campaign.

Residents of the district fear that the construction of a huge residential complex will end up sadly and will lead to the revival of the territory called KHZB. Therefore, on weekends, they will continue to enter the shares in support of the Khovrinka Park project and wait for the answer to the Moscow House and Marat Khusnullin to their proposal.
