The heroes of the publication, in which there was a story about fraud with property and documents, considered that the journalist, that is, I, revealed their personal data. They complained to the magistrate court, and Judge Olga Zhbanova found me guilty of an administrative offense, making a warning.

I then challenged him in the Pskov City Court. "Are you a mobile operator?" - clarified the judge of Sheker. “No,” I admitted. As a result, the appeal canceled the decision of Zhbanova, because, as the judge of the city court said, to apply the law on personal data to the journalist instead of the media law is absolutely illiterate.

The years have passed since then, Judge Zhbanova went to increase, and I learned that the crazy decisions of the courts are not always the hand of the Blood Gabney, but also the regular stupidity of the system - be it a consequence, whether it be a court.

The criminal cases of recent times are not only stories about the “machine of repression”, but also, as in cases, with the case of Ivan Golunov or Pavel Ustinov, stupidity, corrosion of idiocy and stupidity. Inability to think two steps forward

While we were worried that the country is mired in corruption, there was that stupidity and limitation were developing faster than corruption. In the epaulettes of the investigation workers, artificial intelligence is not implanted. And the natural left the system almost completely - along with the remnants of conscience.

When they ask me about the case of Svetlana Prokopyeva , I often remember this story. In its case, the investigation also applies not a journalistic article to the journalist. True, it is not easy to joke over the stupidity of the investigation - the price here is much higher.

Thanks to the light, we again began to take no longer, but distribute comments. "How do you feel about Svetlana Prokopyeva?" Well, what do you think I feel about this? It annoys every time to say that it is nonsense, stupidity - it is how to tell that yellow is yellow. For us, a criminal case against Svetlana is simply a personal, fully family case. How will you relate if a criminal case sucks out of your finger? Well, somehow we relate.

When one colleague asked me why I did not sign a petition, I said that I did not sign the petitions and did not put specialized avatars, because we, journalists, were lucky: we can do more than sign a useless petition. "If necessary, we will go out into the street, if necessary and sit down." "Sit down - is it figuratively?" - said the colleague. Not, I say, not figuratively.

But the phrase from the comment was still removed.

This is ridiculous, but the case of Svetlana Prokopieva gave her environment and incentive to resist. It has ceased to be scary. It became inconvenient to tremble and make sure. If this girl is not afraid of this meter with a cap, if she, being under a criminal case, does not break, does not go to die, then or to us, insensitive blocks, to be afraid of something?

That's why thanks to respected investigators that fear of such a thing as a criminal, a guard - this is this sacred fear properly devalued. No, I don’t want to, but it’s not scary anymore. Honestly, only one thing is embarrassing: that they can come home when not removed. This really annoys.

The persecution of ordinary people - not criminals, not gopniks, not corrupt officials - our punitive system has reduced the understanding of who can be planted. They can be players. Can actors. Can journalists. Not for killing or drugs - for a picket, for words, for passing by. Does this strengthen their "vertical of power"? I have an answer.

It seems to me that in literature many tales have political connotation. Whether it is "Raccoon baby" or, for example, the tale of Ushinsky "Wind and Sun." When the wind tried to blow out with the old man, he only wrapped him more. The sun acted wisely: when the old man became warm, he himself took off the sheepskin coat.

The Russian government suits this. The authorities openly admit that it is weak, from the pressure of society it cannot protect herself as criminal cases. Be it political activists, whether it be journalists. The Early Putin system did not require protection from society by criminal cases - she felt quite confident.

Now the time of conviction has passed, the time of ignoring - too. It is time for the discharge of fear and criminal cases. That's just this method - the last. And in our time it does not work. Many are no longer scared. People smile even on the bench.
