
The Kaliningrad Regional Court appointed a 73-year-old pensioner Peter Zuev a fine of 150 thousand rubles for participating in an inconsistent campaign. A fine is a replacement of another punishment, earlier the court appointed him 40 hours of compulsory work. This was reported by the publication "New Kaliningrad".
In July 2019, Zuev entered the action in defense of the doctor of the perinatal center Elina Sushkevich, who was accused of killing a newborn. Together with him, about 10 more people entered the square. Zuev held the poster "The whole system needs to be changed. Plumber Navalny." For this, a protocol on a repeated violation of the rules of public events was drawn up for him. The court appointed him 40 hours of compulsory work.

The New Kaliningrad clarifies that an administrative fine is a less strict punishment than mandatory or arrest, so formally the regional court softened the punishment.
