The head of the Karelian correctional colony No. 9, Ivan Savelyev, appealed to the regional department of the Ministry of Justice with a request to deprive the lawyer status of Viktor Molodezhnikov, whose clients talked about torture. The Mediazone was informed about this by the youth.
The complaint of Savelyev (is at the disposal of the Mediazons) says that the lawyer abused his right, having recorded a conversation with the colony officers on the recorder, who did not let him into the clients on August 29 for a long time.
The lawyer did not meet with the convicted by Sergei Tarasov - he was informed that the prisoner refused his services. Later in court, Tarasov explained that Savelyev forced him to abandon the lawyer - he found out that the prisoner told the defender about the death of his cellmate after torture in 2013.
The lawyer provided the lawyer with the recording of the conversation with the colony officers when he disputed the lack of permit, but the judge refused to explore it.
"Molodezhnikov V.V. He believes that he is allowed to protect his principals by any means, and they or not whether it does not matter for a lawyer, ”says Saveliev.
The youth’s lawyer sent his explanations to the Ministry of Justice to the complaint of the chief of IK-9, who believes that the defender "defeats the honor and dignity of a lawyer, belittles the authority of the advocacy of the city of Petrozavodsk." Youngzhnikov notes that the actions of Savelyev and his subordinates, who did not let him toward Sergei Tarasov, have already recognized the Petrozavodsky City Court illegal, and the very content of the complaint “distorts the actual circumstances set forth in it”.

Molodezhnikov’s lawyer previously reported torture in the Karelian IK-9. Later, a video appeared on which the head of the colony Savelyev beats the prisoner. Because of it, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on abuse of authority with the use of violence (paragraph “A” of part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code).
The youth’s lawyer said that the day after the publication of torture in the colony was cut by Toyota , and after some time the same car “rammed” the defender’s car from the driver's side. Youngzhnikov asked to provide him with state protection.
Journalist Alla Konstantinova, who wrote a text about torture in IK-9 for Mediazons, after the publication noticed that Savelyev and his deputy Ivan Kovalev were following her. In the FSIN this is denied and insisted: the colony staff "came to buy water."
