"Kaspersky Laboratory" will begin the sale

The Russian antivirus developer in the Kaspersky Laboise will begin to sell the so -called antidrons. This was announced by the newspaper "Vedomosti" the head of the Kaspersky Antidrone project Vladimir Turov.

According to him, the company calls Antrone a software and hardware complex capable of preventing drones to protected territories, including industrial facilities, mass events, etc. At the same time, the Kaspersky Laboratory is engaged in the development of the company (their list has not yet been disclosed) work on the hardware of the device.

The Kaspersky Antidrone system is able to detect a moving object, determine its coordinates, transfer them to the server and start tracking. If, when analyzing the data, the neural network determines that the system has spotted the drone, then the program will block the connection of the drone with the control panel. In this case, the drone will either return to the start point, or will land in the area where the signal was blocked.

Turov clarified that the company’s program will not harm the drones to violators, and the cost of the finished complex will be from 100 thousand to $ 1 million and will depend on the model of drones that will need to be fought, as well as on the configuration of the system that can be stationary or mobile (such modification can be installed on the car).

The company representative added that the Kaspersky Lab has not yet concluded contracts for the supply of the system, but is negotiating with several organizations. Next year, the company expects to sell 5-10 Kaspersky Antidrone complexes. Their customers can become airports, organizers of large sports competitions and mass events, industrial enterprises and VIP clients. At the same time, Torov did not specify whether the Kaspersky Laboratory plans to sell the system to power structures.

The Ministry of Defense said that the development of the Kaspersky Laboers can be accepted for supply if the tests and verification for compliance with a number of requirements of the department have successfully underwent. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense noted that dozens of companies are already offering their decisions in this area.

According to the editor -in -chief of the “Unmanned Aviation” portal Denis Fedutinov, the market for the fight against drones is “promising”, but many such systems often turn out to be narrowly profile and can only affect certain models of drones.

Recall that at the end of September, Russia entered into force on registration of drones weighing from 250 grams to 30 kilograms produced in the Russian Federation or imported into its territory. To register the drone, its owner needs to send an appropriate application to the Federal Air Transport Agency. In the application, it is necessary to indicate personal data, information about the manufacturer and some technical characteristics of the device. Also, a photo of the drone needs to be attached to him.

In mid -September, the State Duma adopted in the first reading amendments to the legislation, which relate to the prevention of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to ensure the safety of citizens and infrastructure facilities. The bill is proposed to amend Art. 18 of the Air Code in order to clearly determine the powers of security forces in illegal situations associated with drones. So, if the law is adopted, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the SVR and the Russian Guard will receive "the powers to suppress the location of unmanned aircraft in the aircraft in the goals established by law, including by suppressing or transforming the remote control signals (...), as well as damage or destruction of" drones.

According to the authors of the bill, the adoption of such amendments is necessary for "ensuring public safety, protecting important objects, objects of transport, information and telecommunication infrastructure." So, one of the initiators of the adoption of amendments, deputy Alexander Hinshtein noted that in world practice, drones are actively used for crimes of a terrorist orientation, delivery of weapons and explosives.
