Aleksey Kobaidze, defendant in the case of throwing a saber at the United Russia office in Khovrino, has left Russia. This was announced in his telegram channel by lawyer Maxim Pashkov.
Kobaidze is charged under an article on hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code) in connection with the events on the night of January 31, 2018, when unknown people broke a window in the office of United Russia in Khovrino and threw a smoke checker.
As part of the same case as Kobaidze, Elena Gorban, Svyatoslav Rechkalov, Andrey Eikin, Alexei Kobaidze and Azat Miftakhov are being held. In the spring of last year, Rechkalov was tortured with electric current during his detention. Miftakhov stated that he was tortured with a screwdriver.
