On October 21, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow extended the arrest of the defendant of the Moskovsky case Nikita Chirtsov. He will remain in jail until January 27. Chirtsov was detained on a protest campaign on July 27. Drawn up a protocol for participating in an unauthorized public event (part 5 of article 20.2. Code of Administrative Offenses), and set a fine of 12 thousand rubles. After some time, Nikita left for Minsk. And in Moscow, at the same time, a criminal case was brought against him, and they accused of “applying violence for the life of violence to a representative of the authorities” (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). Allegedly, he caused pain to the policeman to the rally: he pushed into the chest and shoulder. Chirtsov was put on the wanted list. He was sent from Minsk on August 30, the Russian police detained him after 2 days, and on September 3, the court sent Nikita to the pre -trial detention center.
Nikita Chirtsov is 22 years old. He is from the Berezniki - the second largest in the city of the Perm Territory. The school passed the exams well and entered the budget department at the Moscow university. He did not finish his studies, two years later he left his studies, it was hard to financially. He began to work himself, registered IP. He planned to return to his studies. All the relatives of Nikita in Berezniki, then he lived with dad and grandmother.
Nadezhda Sergeevna shows medals, school photographs, diaries and letters of Nikita from the pre -trial detention center. Letters are written by hand, a photo of the letter comes to e -mail with a delay of about a day.
“Grandmother, good evening, Nadezhda Sergeevna reads. - Well, right, what else to do in retirement? (I wrote that I went to the garden, there were still some work remained). I would also go to the garden now, in the bathhouse to take a steam bath instead of all this. I received a letter from my father, very glad. We have a rise at 6 o’clock, hinges at 22. If you do something-English, sports, walk, then the day does not seem long. Give everyone hello to me too, I will soon, I hold on to well done. See you soon! ”
“Such letters. Though short, but still very nice. Comfortable. It’s good that there is such an opportunity. Though I see him handwriting - she hardly holds back her tears. - How much time has passed, I still can’t calmly. We hope. All the same, it is not forever, sooner or later it will end anyway. ”
- Do people react to your pickets?
- Not everyone knows what happened in Moscow in the summer. I also did not even know that the elections in Moscow were. Rallies, protests - absolutely I was not interested in it. We did not talk about this, I did not read in the newspapers or on the Internet. I began to delve into after Nikita got into this story. There are, it turns out, political prisoners who are sitting for expressing their opinion openly. People are not negative, but they do not believe that something can be changed. Many are suitable with the words of support, wish good luck that it ends safely, so that none of those who are in jail were convicted.
- How did you find out what happened to Nikita?
- On July 27, he himself said that he was detained in Moscow. Do not worry, he says, they will let me go in three hours. A protocol was drawn up on him. Then we called up, no subscription about the wonness, there was nothing at all.
He planned to go to Belarus even before all events. Working conditions allow him to move freely, he is not tied to one place. He did not hide from anyone, he had no restriction of movement, he had no agenda either, and he left for Belarus. The penalty for participating in an unauthorized action was discharged without him, the lawyer said that he could not be present. He told me all this, we regularly talked and called over the Internet.
He lived calmly in Belarus and did not even portend anything at all that a criminal case would be instituted against him. He called me on the phone from Minsk for literally one second and said that "the police came, they were delayed, allegedly I am wanted." All. We also talked, also literally one minute when he had already arrived in Moscow from Minsk.

They sent him from Belarus, said: they will meet you there, go, they put one on the plane. Arrived. He says, freely - he did not interest anyone. "I am in Moscow, at the airport, until I was detained." He received luggage, passed passport control, was even more than an hour at the airport. And when he was detained, we personally did not talk to him anymore. We were not allowed to communicate.
I’ll definitely go to court. I was already in Moscow, immediately after the detention of Nikita, I could not sit at home. I brought him things, he did not even have a toothbrush.
- Who now tells you how Nikita's things are doing?
-I find out through the lawyer Alexander Borkov from the OVD-Info. There is also a group of parents (the defendants in the “Moscow business”): we support each other and find out what is happening. I still do not know whether he purposefully went to this rally, or he was there by chance. In Nikita, I know almost nothing and do not look on the Internet. Yourself shore. I don't want to read. There is really it and not true.
Now we communicate through letters. There is such an opportunity. I am writing two letters a week, Nikita answers. Through IWIL and through the censor, of course. He reassures us, we reassure him. We do not write about the circumstances of the case. I think it is impossible, the investigation is coming. I sent books to him for three months and a half, he read a lot. Haley sent him, he is very pleased. He is fond of English, sent him books in English.
- Have you discussed with Nikita his civil views, events in the country?
- No no. I have his diaries, there he has goals for the future, he paints his tasks - all the business. We did not talk about politics with him at all. Some general phrases were, of course, on occasion. He said, we live in such a rich country, and your pension is so small as so? He left the Berezniki immediately after school. Plans were engaged in business. He was also seriously fond of English and sports. He has many awards, medals, letters. I went to the competition, I played for the school, for the Berezniki. He never created troubles to anyone at home or in his studies.

- Nikita often came to Berezniki?
-He lived in Berezniki, left, in my opinion, in May or in June. He studied in Moscow, then came here. Received a certificate as an individual entrepreneur. He lived here, he began to work like an entrepreneur here. He began to receive some pretty penny.
- Did he help you financially? Or rather you helped him?
- He helped. At least, he did not ask us at all. He lived with us. Specifically lived with me, he has his own room in my apartment. His fate is not easy. Parents parted when he was very small. He lived with his father. I am mom mom. Mom also lives in Berezniki, supports Nikita, but she has another family, children. Nikita became independent early. Dad works on a rotational basis, now it is not in the city. But he was at the arrest of Nikita's arrest. They could not talk live - they saw each other at a session from a pre -trial detention center.
-Someone else do you know from the defendants in Moscow business? Watch what is happening to them?
I am following all the guys now. They became all my relatives. I rejoice for those who have been released, I rejoice for those who are softened by punishment and are upset for those who receive new terms.
