On October 17, in the telegram-chat of our department, there was a message from representatives of the “Alliance of Animal Defenders”: “On Saturday, October 19, closed competitions on the contact dachshunds on the fox will be held at the Krugloye Lake Poster Station. This is now illegal. There will be about 40 participants. The event is closed, secret, afraid to burn. We are going to cover them. Maybe one of your journalists could go with us and make a report? " Our photojournalist of Sveta Vidanova and I went to seal with the zooprotes.

Before the trip, going to the website of the Round Lake, I found photos confirming the words of the zooprodists - now the site of the seal station is blocked as if for maintenance and photos from the Internet are deleted - on one of them that I saw and a bunch of witnesses, the dog is bombing at the withers of a living raccoon, and the dog holds the mouth of a dead animal. This is illegal.

The “new” wrote a lot about what difficulty the law prohibiting the contact seal was adopted: in December 2017, the State Duma adopted the appropriate amendments to the Law on Hunting, but the Federation Council rejected these amendments - Senator Sergei Kalashnikov, for example, even stated that “this law leads us along the same way” as “the protection of the rights of sexual minorities in the west”. Nevertheless, on March 7, 2018, the law was signed by Vladimir Putin: according to it, the training of hunting dogs became possible only in a contactless way and only in hunting.

So, on October 19, on Saturday, at about 9:30 in the morning we arrived by car of the zoo defenders along with the head of the “Animal Defenders Alliance” by Yuri Koretsky and two activists of the organization - Yana and Catherine - to the Village of Moshetskoye in the Solnechnogorsk district. It is worth noting that the Kinological Center - and so officially it is called - is located in a picturesque place, immediately across the road from the "round lake" - a specially protected natural territory of regional significance. It must also be said that this “dog handicraft” station is not included in the zone of hunting grounds of the Moscow region - judging by the map, the station is located within the Hunting Government of the Moscow Region, but Stanislav Yevtushenko, the chairman of the organization of the ROO of the Moscow Region, which is the hunting user of this territory, told me that the Krugoye Lake is a completely separate subject. ”

At the gates of the Round Lake there was no sign “Primnating station”: the warning signs “Caution, Evil Dog” and “Fare is prohibited” only hung there.

The zoo defenders decided to inspect the territory behind the station. There, the Dmitrov Zoactivist Maria, who came to help, joined us. Going around the "round lake", they found in the swamp the corpse of a dog with a bloody wound on their backs. Apparently, the corpse was fresh - he had not even managed to stab. Not far from the corpse, we found two skulls on the ground, presumably, fox.

Nearby was a burial ground littered with pieces of polystyrene: bones, skulls and a bag with something porridge, from which a strong unpleasant odor, were sticking out of the ground. Near the burial ground lay a large bag with traces of blood inside.

In several places behind the territory of the Round Lake there was a cadaveric smell, it was obvious that these were the insides of animals that the “Kinogological Center” did not consider it necessary to dispose of.

All the time, while we examined the territory behind the “round lake”, a loud bark was heard behind the high fence of the station and periodically screams resembling foxes (you can find a lot of videos in which foxes scream in YouTube). At about eleven o'clock, one of the zoo guards went to the gate and, introducing myself as a taxi breeder, began to find out the prices for a seal. They answered her: “Come at any time, we have“ competitions ” - right now we cannot. We have foxes, raccoons, badgers. As expected - the normal animals. The price for the first time from 500 to 800 rubles. "

The zoo defenders decided to call the police to the main gate. Waited for two hours. When the police nevertheless arrived, the zoo defenders entered the station through the open entrance (apparently, through it the employees of the Round Lake and carried the animal bones into the forest) from the back yard. We went after them. At the station in the backyard, we found several iron cells - in one of them there was a badger. Also in the courtyard there were several aviaries with dogs. Having passed the aviary and cells, we saw about ten cars and several dozen people, many of whom kept dogs on leashes. The police stood behind the gates of the round lake-the police looked at the gaps at the gates, on which someone hung the castle, but for some reason they did not dare to enter the station.

In a cage with special wooden "holes" there was a seal. Visitors, surrounding the cage, watched how some white animal was rushing about there, on which the dog was set.

The station employees did not immediately understand what was happening. Because the brawl began only after the Koretsky shouted: “Do you understand that you are violating the law? Do you understand that this is a brutal handling of animals? " After these words, the Koretsky pushed out of the cage where the seal passed.

At the request of the Koretsky for help, a policeman who looked at the gap, only quietly tapped his hand - but no one opened them.

All this time, the people who were in the station were tightened together with the zoo defenders to the closed gates. The same man who hit the Koretsky came close to me, began to threaten, demanded to say his address and advised “walking and looking around”. My colleague was grabbed by the shoulders and rudely pushed her to the gate. She was also hit on the cell and took her press card from her. The zoo defender Maria was hit in the back with his fist, Katya was kicked down his feet, and Yana was pushed several times. Katya damaged the phone screen.

About ten minutes after the start of the brawl, we were all pushed out of the station - for example, a man in a camouflage jacket and a green sweater broke his hand behind his back and back up began to push him to the side exit from the station.

The zoo defenders wrote statements to the police on the spot. During this time, the corpse of a dog disappeared from the swamp. By the evening, one could hear how the gates were cheerful to award dogs that distinguished themselves in today's seal (the more diplomas have for sealing, the more expensive her puppies are, this is the meaning of such competitions).

After the rewarding of the Gate of the Round Lake, the station visitors began to quickly leave its territory. Some cars left with sealed state numbers.

Sveta and I went to write statements and shoot beatings in Zelenograd. Having written a statement in the department, we waited for about two hours while we were given a notification coupon that the statements were accepted. After the department, we went to the emergency room, and then, already at night, returned to Moscow.

The next day, we again arrived at the gates of the station along with the zoo defenders, police officers, journalists of the Vesti-Moscow program and representatives of the local administration.

From the gates of the Round Lake, all the signs were removed at all, the cracks at the gate were embedded.

The director of the station, standing aside during yesterday’s brawl, came to us. The woman refused to introduce herself, but the zoostaters managed to find out that her name is Natalya Godovanik.

The year old was told the police that the unknown person in Balaklava tried to get into the territory of the round lake in the morning, "throwing bottles with incendiary mixture."

In addition, she pointed to three people who, in her opinion, could do this, including the photo correspondent of the “new” Sveta Vidanov. The police were taken to Vidanov to write an explanation that she did not commit unlawful actions. Later, I also wrote such an explanation, as well as some zoo defenders.

The police, along with representatives of the local administration, managed to get into the territory of the Round Lake. They said that the “territory is tired”, but the animals are fed, without traces of torture, the station management has all the necessary documents on wild animals, they are vaccinated. In the wooden burrows, in which the seal is carried out, according to them, there are special valves so that the dogs do not contact with predators. Also, there are no traces of blood in the burrows, "which it would be impossible to wash." Representatives of the local administration also reported that according to the documents this land is rented from the Moscow Road State Technical University (MADI), and is located on this land, judging by the documents, the Kinological Center.

Zoo defenders note that in the photographs taken on October 19 in the station, traces of blood are visible on the floor. They believe that the station management simply hid the wounded animals or took them out of the station.

Zooprodists are still convinced that a contact seal is carried out in the round lake. This indirectly confirms the video of the zoo defenders on which one of the women, which entered the notebook on the results of the seal, apparently trying to hide his face behind the notebook with the “Wolverine Bologolovsoi” logo, accidentally shows the zoopathy workers a page on which the word “fox” is legibly written, and also such words: “enough throat at once”.
