The nearest opponent - the conservative party - leads in 121 districts. Further, with a large margin, a new democratic party, the “Quebec block” and the Green Party followed.

In the past elections in 2015, the Liberal Party gained 40% of the vote. Then Justin Trudeau replaced the head of the conservative party of 56-year-old Stephen Harper as Prime Minister.
