The Ministry of Internal Affairs demanded to block the Baza article about ketamine

The Ministry of Internal Affairs demanded that Roskomnadzor restrict access to the article “Reporting from a ketamine trance”. This was announced by the official representative of the department Irina Volk.

The inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs found prohibited information in the article. Volk noted that the material talks about ways to use ketamine and "allegedly there are positive aspects of its use."

"Ketamine Trance Report" was published by Baza in September. The author of the article, Andrei Kaganskikh, told the story of ketamine research, and also tried the substance himself and described its effects. The article is marked "18+" and begins with a disclaimer stating that the text is "created for informational purposes only."

Representatives of Baza, in an interview with TJournal, called the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "ridiculous" and stated that the article does not promote the use of illegal substances.
