The main prize of Artdocfest went to the film “Immortal” about life in Apatity
The Grand Prix of the festival of author's documentary films "Artdocfest" was awarded to "Immortal" by Ksenia Okhapkina. This was reported to Meduza by the organizers of the festival. The film tells about the inhabitants of the city of Apatity in the Murmansk region.
Maxim Shved, creator of Pure Art, received the Artdocfest award for best director. The film is dedicated to a street artist who paints in different parts of Minsk, and public service workers who daily paint over inscriptions on houses with multi-colored rectangles.
The Special Jury Prize was awarded to the painting "School of Seduction" by Alina Rudnitskaya. For this work, the director spent 10 years filming the life of girls who took courses in seducing men in St. Petersburg. Special mention of the jury was given to the paintings "State Funeral" by Sergei Loznitsa about farewell to Joseph Stalin and "Daimokhk" by Masha Novikova about the family of the Chechen dancer and choreographer Ramzan Akhmadov.
