Student Andrei Barshai, accused in the "Moscow case" , will be sent for an inpatient psychiatric examination. Barshai's lawyer Mansur Gilmanov told Mediazona about this.
The examination will begin next week and will last a month. It will take place at Moscow's Alekseyev Psychiatric Hospital No. 1. Barshai already underwent an outpatient examination there on October 25.
The lawyer, citing the investigator, said that they decided to send Barshai for an inpatient examination because of doubts that arose in the doctors during the outpatient examination. They suspected that during the protest on July 27, the student could have been in a state of affect or even insane.
