The United States deployed eight helicopters and two drones in the operation to eliminate the leader of the Islamic State terrorist organization Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Turkish Anadolu news agency reported, citing sources.

On the night of October 27, American aircraft launched several missile attacks on a house near the village of Barisha in the province of Idlib, not far from the border of Syria and Turkey. According to the agency, the bodies of seven people were found at the scene - three men, three women and a child. The airspace over Idlib, Anadolu notes, is controlled by the Russian military.
