The investigator in the case of Samariddin Radzhabov filed a petition with the Basmanny District Court of Moscow to limit the period for familiarization of Radzhabov's defense with the case materials. This was reported in the Telegram channel “Human Rights Postcards”.
The hearing to consider the prosecution's motion will take place on October 31 in the Basmanny Court at 14:00. “Human Rights Postcards” clarifies that Radjabov will be present in the courtroom.
Previously, one of the four police officers who were victims in the Radzhabov case, V.V. Maksidov , refused to be a victim and resigned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to Radjabov’s lawyer Badamshin, policeman Maksidov was not satisfied with the “role of the victim” proposed to him by the investigation, and after the events of July 27, he resigned from the force.

Ignatiev clarified that the defense has so far been given only 3 hours for familiarization.

The lawyer emphasized that in the conditions of the pre-trial detention center, where Ignatiev and his client get acquainted with the case materials, it is physically impossible to study several volumes of the criminal case in such a short time.
- On October 15, Radjabov was charged in the final version, according to which he is accused of threatening to use violence against a representative of government (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Before this, Radjabov was charged with attempted violence against a police officer (Article 318 with the use of Part 3 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code), since Lieutenant Linnik claimed that a thrown bottle hit him in the neck, but the collected evidence refuted this.
- In connection with the Moscow rally on July 27 for fair elections, during the dispersal of which the police detained at least 1,373 people, a criminal case was opened under articles on mass riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the use of violence against government officials (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Until recently, 15 people were known to be involved in the case. On September 3, the Investigative Committee stopped criminal prosecution against five of them.
