The ruling elite has ideology. This ideology is shared by most of the country's population. I would call it the ideology of the "zone in the ring of free settlements." Psychologists would probably have used the term “primitive group” instead of the “zone”. A primitive group does not engage in complex creative processes, does not produce a complex product. It can extract, distribute, consume - solve simple, standard problems within the framework of an unlimited resource. The level of cooperation in such groups is minimal, the cooperation itself is mechanistic (otherwise the ability to cooperate in the hierarchy), the result (the volume of the acquired resources) does not depend much on the quality of the actions of the group members (otherwise effective players would be appreciated in the hierarchy). In conditions when the personal properties of the individual slightly affect the change in the general result of the actions, differentiation occurs only by the ability of the individual to appropriate most of the total income. Members of the primitive group are evaluated exclusively from the point of view of the provisions in the hierarchy, which, in turn, is determined by force (in the broad sense) and corresponds to the right to distribution (primarily selection in their favor) resources available to the group.
The primitive group is rooted in the community of long -standing human ancestors. Scientists study such groups with examples of modern monkeys, in particular hammadrils, macaques, and some pasty. The “economy” of the herd of hammadrils is one hundred percent distributed: the head of the herd is the leader (alpha) and several males of the “near circle” (beta); The production is handed over to the leader who distributes it; Independent consumption of the found is suppressed. In modern human life, there is no brighter example of a primitive group than Russian places of imprisonment. Russian history has forced a huge number of people to go through zones - in the most severe form of the Gulag, the rigid form of a modern prison (we still have 603 people per 100 thousand people in prisons, in Germany - 95), in a soft form of army service, a mild to the Soviet kindergarten, a school, a pioneer camp. By these and the waves of genocide (since 1917, with the enviable regularity of the war, repression and emigration, primarily the bright, independent, not ready to obey the system of the primitive group) formed the dominant of the zone ideology in Russia. Why is it surprised that it was this “soil” ideology that became a new ideology of power - not only that supports it, it is also extremely convenient for its (power) retention, since in its essence it implies the absolute absence of an elevator from people in any way, except for the complete adoption of the ideology of the “zone” and following it.
The economy of the “zone” is based on the full depending on the outside world (for the colony-literally for the country-zone-through export and import), low-efficient production of low-quality product and one hundred percent distribution model. The ideology of the “zone” is complex, but its morality can be reduced to several basic ideas.
The first: the inviolability of laws establishing a hierarchy, in which there are almost no social elevators, and between the seated (people) and protecting (representatives of the authorities) there are no them at all.
The second: absolute support of the hierarchy by all its representatives through the principle "both with us and us."
Third: the calculation only for yourself - “do not believe, do not be afraid, do not ask”, all enemies are all around, there is no cooperation, only rivalry; The only way to rise up is through lowering others down.
Fourth: the principle of identity - do not differ, do not lean out, do not argue, do not knock, do not complain, do not show any kindness, no weakness, nor initiative, take everything for granted.
Probably, it is unnecessary to say how much our life is saturated with zone culture. Vocabulary, songs, concepts intertwining with the laws, the desire to have a large (sign of power) black (apparently, a sign of a position in the hierarchy?) A machine that goes through the level of aggression (on the roads, on the Internet, in everyday life), a taboo on self -criticism and criticism of your country, aggressive conservatism, rejection of a new, constant nostalgia for any vision of the future (otherwise in the form Return to the past) - the properties of a primitive group. The loyalty of the population to the current government (unlike, by the way, the previous ones) is the result of the conformity of its actions of the general ideological model. The authorities are even talking with the intentional addition of feni and thieves and expressions, and its actions are the actions of the “right” kid who holds the zone: it increases the ration, does not give up its own, shows strength, when it is necessary, and, most importantly, completely reproduces the spectrum of the leader of the primitive group - supports concepts, consolidates the distribution of the resource, regulates the hierarchy, and rewarding loyalty. From the point of view of the prisoner, it is necessary to pray for such bosses: all “unfastened”, go to the will at will (if only they had time to roll call), goods from the will are heated, what else is needed?
Moreover, if we consider Russia in the context of zone ideology, then many seemingly absurd things become in their place. The first sign of the zone is the general feeling of "non-house." According to surveys, 63% of Russians want to change the country of residence. In the heaps of garbage left in the roadsides and in places of rest, in the short-term all plans (including investment), in passivity and unwillingness to build and create-in everything in Russia there is a feeling of “non-house”: everything is not mine, I use nothing to take care of, there is nothing to regret.
In the herd of hammadrils, in the zone and in Russia, those who distribute and controls are always higher than those who produce. Silovicians, officials, authorities - all this set, many times higher than its number of world standards of bureaucracy - obviously not only have the right to oppress the businessman, but also are obliged, by virtue of concepts (backed by law, which in Russia is very reminiscent of) in every possible way to control and exploit the latter. The lack of property protection in Russia, about which so much is talked about, is not an annoying shortage: what can be property in the zone culture, where “the boss gave - the boss took”?
The stereotypes of the "command-administrative" administration from the same. The habit of higher Russian officials to humiliate subordinates, and even independent people, publicly, including live, adopted by the familiar management style of management with employees, the traditions of many hours of arrival of the high authorities or reception in high offices are rooted by their roots to the army control system and hard discipline for the inhabitants of the colony. “Motivation” as the concept of Russian authorities is unfamiliar, but only “ban” and “order” are familiar, which is also characteristic of the zone, and there is no need to explain how archaic and ineffective are.
Communication with the population of Russia from the authorities differs little from communication with prisoners in style. It is enough to read the letter from the tax inspectorate. There will be no “thank you for financing our country with your taxes!” There will be ten warnings about karas for non -payment and delay.
Citizens are not far behind: according to the report, there are only three countries in the world where the attitude to the police is worse than in Russia. In only 14 countries, citizens feel less safe on the street. Is it objective? Of course, not: in Russia, the police, of course, are not particularly good, but it is not so bad on the streets relatively safe. This is a zone ideology: do not believe anyone, all enemies.
The total rejection of homosexuals in Russia is also a hundred percent zone nature. This is an integral element of a primitive group, in which sexual intercourse indicates a hierarchy. At the same time, unlike the USSR in Russia, a ban on homosexuality will not be introduced-who will personify the delta-level, with whom to compare opponents (except for the unsystematic opposition)? When a popular politician publicly orders the journalist to be strictly rape, do not mistakenly assume that he is inciting a serious crime and even that he is insulting a woman. He only within the framework of our system of values and morality draws the attention of a woman to her place in the hierarchy - a traditional (from the time when his ancestors were similar to gamadrils) by explaining who could be the initiator of sexual intercourse. By the way, the State Duma, which has limited to “censure” on this occasion, understands the innocence of this action and its compliance with our norms.
Obtaining funds “from will” in any zone is strictly regulated, as it adds to the soldering, for which it is necessary to work and be flexible, uncontrolled appendage. Therefore, it is not surprising that charity organizations receiving money from abroad should be under tight control. The call of the head of the charitable foundation to vote for the presidential candidate only because he threatens to not give money (state) to the children's hospital and generally cover the charity fund, only in the free world seems absurd. And in the zone - natural.
Finally, the last ban on traveling abroad employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs seems even belated. If you look at them as conscripts guarding the zone, it is not clear at all why they should have the right to dismiss to the city. Dismissal is an encouragement, let him in the personnel department along with a passport and issue it.
Do not think that the zone is a place from which everyone wants to escape. There are at least two categories of people who, on the contrary, want to stay in the zone: these are those who are passive, are not ready for their own initiative, their own opinion and their own risks; These are also those who have the capabilities and/or abilities in the zone to get a good job - from the “bosses” to thieves (so to speak, the asset of the zone). If you accept the rules of the game and are at the top of the hierarchy, why not stay "in the zone"? In Russia, there are especially many representatives of both the first and second group. There are even ideologists of zones who dream of turning the whole world into it and see in this a “special mission of Russia”. It is good that so far this version is reasonably supported by our power. Hence - a very special attitude to the outside world.
The attitude to the West is similar to the attitude of the herd of gamadrils towards people in the village nearby. We do not love the West, we are afraid of it, we despise him. And we idolize him, we get almost everything vital from him. We ask him endlessly: when it is worse, then loans, when better, are right “like people”, recognition and respect, while categorically refusing to cooperate. We are endlessly outraged when we do not get what we ask, and scornfully grin when we get. All the time we areware of their “insidious plans” and openly have fun when we manage our insidious plan towards them.
The attitude to other "zones" we have fraternal, you can help, if necessary. The help of another zone consists in supporting the laws of the zone and the bosses of the zone on its territory. But if suddenly the "fraternal zone" begins to change its ideology to the "free", we see only one thing in this - the riot of prisoners. "The roosters rebelled!" - In this case, we scream in the righteous anger and horror that this can happen with us. Where we cannot send our guards to “restore order”, we have to send our “asset” and help local “activists of the zone”. It is not surprising that in the Crimea and in the DPR and LPR, the current leaders have so many criminal past and/or rumors about relations with the criminal world - where else to take the advanced detachment of carriers of this ideology?
The zone ideology, values of the zone, the moral of the zone - this is our "traditions and foundations." They are not good or bad, they do not need to be shy, just as they probably should not be proud of. It’s just that we have our own morality, the West has its own. The similarity with the hammadrils should also not insult us: the planes are similar to birds only because both must fly. Gamadrils and we are doomed to live in an economy of the same type - with an unlimited resource that we easily collect and which we live on. It is clear why the Russian president speaks of the protection of our morality from the influence of the West - Western morality will not work our economy. But I would hasten him to reassure: our morality and our values are a product of the economic model. They can’t be pulled out by anything until the flows of oil and gas will bring us income, in anticipation of the share of which the entire population will be lined up - some in a huge office with a hundred guards, some with a broom in a roof in a crowd of migrants.
The problem is in the future. In the zone, it seems that it exists forever. But no matter how strong the prickly wire, high tower, is strong, the waterflies are strong and accurate AK-74, the modern zone exists, only as long as it is needed (for example, it provides a resource and holds many unreliable personalities on its territory). Someday, not soon, the flow of oil from Russia will end or will not be needed. And then our children (or even grandchildren) will have to meet with the choice, which our long -standing ancestors made, apparently during a sharp change in climate: change morality or to die out. We do not know what part of them preferred to die out without changing their foundations. We do not know what our children will choose. But I would like to believe that they can choose Western morality, getting rid of the venerable ideology. She, in fact, is not bad. Simply - leads to extinction.
