The State Duma intends to spend 3.7 million rubles on the “analysis of foreign experience” of the response of national parliaments to “interference in the internal affairs of the state”. The corresponding tender is published on the public procurement portal.

The contractor will have to analyze the means and methods of interference in the internal affairs of the "sovereign states in the political, economic and other spheres." After that, he will be obliged to develop “new approaches” to counteract attempts to influence.

In particular, the contractor will have to “analyze” attempts to intervene in electoral processes “at various levels, including the dispute of the legitimacy of such processes; To study the instruments of “destabilization” of companies by imposing sanctions and analyzing attempts “by organizing pressure on market exchange rates and quotes of Russian shares on Russian and foreign funds”.

The documents noted that the results of the study can be used by the State Duma in legislative activity.

After the election on September 8, a commission was created in the State Duma to investigate foreign intervention.
