Yulia Fedotova writes that the second case was initiated after the lawyer tried to challenge the law of the Krasnodar Territory on public events in the regional court. Law enforcement agencies considered that Fedotova, through the project “Human Rights Postcards”, collaborated with the “undesirable” British network movement Open Russia (“Open Russia”). However, these are different organizations, they are not legally connected.

  • On October 2, Yulia Fedotova was summoned to the prosecutor's office of the Central District of Krasnodar to initiate an administrative case on cooperation with an "undesirable organization" (Article 20.33).
  • In April 2017, the Prosecutor General's Office declared undesirable a number of organizations associated with Mikhail Khodorkovsky. Including the Open Russia Civic Movement. The Russian movement "Open Russia" was not banned.
  • On March 30, 2019, Open Russia declared self-liquidation for security reasons.
